TIPPING OFF
The 2025-26 regular season is down to its final two games and the Arkansas Tech women's basketball team will first be at home on Thursday against Henderson State and then on the road at Southern Arkansas on Saturday.

Thursday night's game will be the final regular season game inside Tucker Coliseum for legendary head coach
Dave Wilbers as he announced his retirement at the conclusion of the season prior to the start of the campaign.

In his 19-year career, Wilbers has a 215-50 (.811) record at Tucker Coliseum.

This will be the 103rd meeting all-time between Tech and Henderson State and the second meeting this season. The Golden Suns won the first meeting, 89-72, on the road back on December 11. The series began in 1977 and the two have played regularly every year since as conference rivals. Overall, Tech leads the series 78-24.

Against Southern Arkansas, this will be the 103rd meeting all-time between Tech and SAU and the second this season. SAU won the first meeting, 86-84, at Tech back on December 15. The series began in 1977 and the two have played regularly every year since as conference rivals. Overall, Tech leads the series 89-13.

Tip-off for the Henderson State game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26 while the SAU game will have a 1 p.m. tip-off on Saturday, February 28.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 18-6 overall and 14-6 in the GAC. They have lost two-straight game with both losses coming on the road last weekend at Southeastern Oklahoma and East Central. Despite the down week, the Golden Suns are already assured a spot in the upcoming GAC Tournament and can do no worse than a third-place finish in the final regular season standings.

Statistically, the Golden Suns average 79.0 ppg to rank first in the GAC and are allowing 70.8 ppg to rank 12th. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are shooting at an overall clip of .431 (657-of-1,525) to rank first in the GAC and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .416 mark (583-of-1,400) to rank ninth.

From beyond the arch, the Golden Suns are shooting .324 (167-of-515) to rank fifth and are allowing their opponents to make three-pointers at a .333 clip (143-of-429) to rank 12th. At the charity stripe, the Golden Suns are shooting .778 (416-of-535) to rank fourth.

Dave Wilbers, who is in his 19th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,
Wilbers has amassed a 381-159 overall record. Nine times,

Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 11 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE REDDIES
Henderson State is 15-9 overall and are 11-9 in the GAC. They are coming off 74-59 win on the road at Southern Nazarene this past Saturday. The Reddies enter the weekend in a tie for fourth place in the GAC standings and are in position to secure a spot in the upcoming tournament.

Statistically, the Reddies average 71.6 ppg and rank third in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Reddies rank 10th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 69.4 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Reddies are seventh in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .401 (582-of-1,453) and are allowing their opponents a .420 mark (591-of-1,408) to rank 11th.

SCOUTING THE MULERIDERS
Southern Arkansas enters this weekend 11-15 overall and 7-13 in the GAC. The Muleriders will have played a game on the road at Ouachita Baptist on Thursday night prior to taking on Tech on Saturday afternoon. Heading into the weekend, the Muleriders have won lost three-straight games with their most-recent defeat coming at Southwestern Oklahoma, 58-41.

The Muleriders enter the weekend in 11
th place in the GAC standings, but not mathematically eliminated from making the upcoming GAC Tournament.

Statistically, the Muleriders average 62.3 ppg and rank 10th in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Muleriders rank fourth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 63.2 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Muleriders are 12th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .381 (605-of-1,590) and are allowing their opponents a .378 mark (545-of-1,443) to rank fourth.
