The Arkansas Tech softball team will make a return trip to Branson, Missouri and will play four more games over the next two days as they will take part in the D2 Branson Battle.

The Golden Suns are slated to take on Quincy and Nebraska Kearney on Thursday and then Pittsburg State and Truman State on Friday.

The Golden Suns enter this weekend with an overall record of 4-4 after they went 2-2 last weekend at the Alvy Early Memorial Classic in Bentonville. Tech would pick up wins against Emporia State and St. Edward's.

Quincy is off to a 1-3 start to their season after their first weekend of play in the Music City Invitational. In that opening weekend, Quincy beat split with Kentucky Wesleyan and lost to Tiffin and Ashland.

Entering play against Tech, the Hawks are hitting .250 as a team (27-for-108) with 24 runs scored, six doubles, eight triples and one home run.

Makala Koozer currently leads the team in batting average at .444 (4-for-9).
