Savannah Meyer has been named as the latest Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Monday.
It is the first GAC weekly award this season for Meyer and the Golden Suns and is the second career.
A native of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Meyer led the Golden Suns offensively in their 2-0 week of conference matches this past week as she would total 32 kills and averaged 4.57 kills/set.
Highly-efficient in her attacking, Meyer would post a .419 attack percentage as she had just six errors on 62 total attempts. Meyer would add three services aces, 17 total digs and 6.0 total blocks for her week's ledger.
