With the final non-conference weekend in the rearview, the Arkansas Tech volleyball team will turn their attention to the remainder of their Great American Conference schedule, starting with a road match at Southern Arkansas on Tuesday, September 23.

The Golden Suns enter the match at 5-6 overall and 1-0 in the GAC. This past weekend, the Golden Suns took part in the Bettye Wallace Classic and went 1-2 with a win against Missouri Southern on Saturday evening.

Offensively, the Golden Suns are averaging 12.8 kills/set and have a .208 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 85 kills and are led by
Henley Hooks and her 110 kills.
Erika Hernandez has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .349 (89k-189att-23err).

SOUTHERN ARKANSAS
The Muleriders are off to a 4-9 start to their season and are 0-1 in GAC play. This past weekend, SAU took part in the Harding Tournament and went 1-2. The Muleriders would win their first match, 3-2, over Crowley's Ridge, but dropped their next two against Arkansas-Fort Smith and Trevecca Nazarene.

Coming into play against Tech, the Muleriders are averaging 11.8 kills/set and have a .167 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 60 kills and are led in kills by
Brinklee Dauenhauer with 111.
Allie Cooper has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .276 (67k-181att-17err).
