RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team lost at home to No. 37-ranked Southern Arkansas by a score of 7-0 in a Great American Conference match on Monday afternoon.
SAU would claim all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the match. In singles action, the Muleriders were able to win five of the six matches in straight sets.
Meaghan Butler at line five split sets against her opponent, Kokocha Roksana, 3-6, 6-3.
Playing in the final match on court, Butler would drop the 10-point tiebreaker, 10-8.
The Golden Suns will now prepare for a road match this Friday at Southeastern Oklahoma. First-serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Durant.
