RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team will begin its spring portion of their 2024-25 season this weekend as they will take to the road for a pair of matches against Central Oklahoma and Newman.
Both matches will be played on Central Oklahoma courts with the UCO match being played on Friday, February 7 at 3 p.m. The Newman match will take place the following day starting at 11 a.m.
For the Golden Suns, this will be their first dual match of the season. Their two previous competition dates in the fall were played at individual tournaments in the ITAs and GAC Individual Championships.
The same is true for UCO, who played in three individual formatted events in the fall. Neman, on the other hand, enters their spring season with four dual matches under their belt from the fall. In those matches, Newman went 1-3.
All eight players on the roster are set to compete for the Golden Suns over the course of the weekend.
