TIPPING OFF
The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team will head on the road for their final Oklahoma stint of the season and make their first stop in Bethany to take on Southern Nazarene.
 
This will be the 31st meeting all-time between Tech and Southern Nazarene. The series began in 1985 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold a 19-13 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 4-14 overall and 2-11 in GAC play. They are coming off a win their last time out as they beat Northwestern Oklahoma 64-51 at home this past Saturday.
 
This season, the Golden Suns average 62.1 ppg and rank 10th in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 11th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 68.0 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are 10th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .390 (410-of-1,051) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .391 mark (439-of-1,122) to rank sixth.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Golden Suns shoot at a clip of .269 (84-of-312) to rank 12th in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .320 (124-of-388) to rank fifth. From the free throw line, the Golden Suns shoot .658 as a team (214-of-325) to rank 11th.
 
Individually, the Golden Suns have one player averaging double figure with AbbiGrace Cunningham leading the way at 10.8 ppg. Three others average at least 8.0 ppg.
 
Julie Wagner leads the team in rebounds with 7.5 rpg. In terms of assists, Andie Zylak leads the team with 3.4 apg.
 
Defensively, the Golden Suns are led in steals by Zylak at 1.7 spg and in blocks by Wagner at 1.1 bpg.
 
The Golden Suns are coached by Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech, Wilbers has amassed a 360-148 overall record. Nine times, Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
Southern Nazarene is 15-5 overall and are 12-2 in conference play. The Crimson Storm have won seven-straight games with their most-recent being a 92-87 win on the road at Southern Arkansas.
 
Statistically, the Crimson Storm average 64.4 ppg and rank eighth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Crimson Storm rank first in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 56.1 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Crimson Storm are third in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .420 (489-of-1,165) and are allowing their opponents a .360 mark (398-of-1,106) to rank first.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Crimson Storm shoot at a clip of .304 (109-of-358) to rank ninth in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .287 (94-of-328) to rank third. From the free throw line, the Crimson Storm shoot .680 as a team (200-of-294) to rank 10th.
