TIPPING OFF
The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team is back at home and preparing to play five of their final six games of the season at home. First among those is a Thursday night game against rival Harding.
 
This will be the 87th meeting all-time between Tech and Harding. In a series that dates back to 1984, the Golden Suns and Lady Lady Bisons have played one another at least twice in a season throughout the series as conference rivals. The Golden Suns currently hold a 63-23 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 4-16 overall and 2-14 in GAC play. They are coming off a 79-59 loss on the road at Oklahoma Baptist this past Saturday.
 
This season, the Golden Suns average 61.2 ppg and rank 10th in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 11th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 68.7 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are 10th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .385 (449-of-1,166) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .393 mark (495-of-1,258) to rank sixth.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Golden Suns shoot at a clip of .264 (91-of-345) to rank 12th in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .317 (147-of-463) to rank fifth. From the free throw line, the Golden Suns shoot .657 as a team (234-of-356) to rank 11th.
 
Individually, the Golden Suns have one player averaging double figure with AbbiGrace Cunningham leading the way at 10.4 ppg. Three others average at least 8.0 ppg.
 
Julie Wagner leads the team in rebounds with 7.3 rpg. In terms of assists, Andie Zylak leads the team with 3.3 apg.
 
Defensively, the Golden Suns are led in steals by Zylak at 1.6 spg and in blocks by Wagner at 1.0 bpg.
 
The Golden Suns are coached by Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech, Wilbers has amassed a 360-150 overall record. Nine times, Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.
 
SCOUTING THE LADY BISONS
Harding is 17-5 overall and are 13-3 in conference play. The Lady Bisons are coming off a 68-62 loss at home on the road at Southern Nazarene this past Saturday.
 
Statistically, the Lady Bisons average 70.6 ppg and rank first in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Lady Bisons rank third in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 60.4 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Lady Bisons are fourth in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .415 (537-of-1,294) and are allowing their opponents a .401 mark (517-of-1,289) to rank eighth.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Lady Bisons shoot at a clip of .313 (91-of-291) to rank eighth in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .241 (89-of-369) to rank first. From the free throw line, the Lady Bisons shoot .787 as a team (389-of-494) to rank third.
 
Individually, the Lady Bisons have three players averaging double figures in scoring and are led by Sage Hawley at 17.9 ppg. Aubrey Isbell is next at 12.9 ppg while Rory Greer and rounds out double-figure scoring at 12.0 ppg. Two other players are averaging at least 8.0 ppg.
 
Hawley is the team-leader in rebounding and is averaging 9.7 rebounds per game. In terms of assists, Josie Williams leads the team and are averaging 3.2 assists per game.
 
Defensively, the Lady Bisons are led in steals by Williams at 1.1 steals per game and in blocks by Hawley at 2.0 blocks per game.
 
The Lady Bisons are coached by Tim Kirby, who is in his 20th season at Harding. At Harding, Kirby is 393-181.
