For the first time since 2022, the Arkansas Tech volleyball team is back in the Great American Conference Tournament. With a resurgent 11-5 record on league play this season under first-year head coach
Hannah Wuest, the Golden Suns earned the No. 4-seed in the conference tournament and will take on No. 5-seed Oklahoma Baptist in the opening round on Thursday.

This will be the second match of 2025 between Tech and Oklahoma Baptist. The two teams met just once in the regular season, and it was Arkansas Tech that won the match, 3-0 at home back on October 11.

The Golden Suns ended their regular season with a 15-11 overall record and an 11-5 mark in conference play. Tech lost their final two matched of the regular season with both losses coming against the top-two seeds in the tournament in Ouachita Baptist and Harding.

Oklahoma Baptist ended their regular season with a 19-9 overall record and an 11-5 mark in conference play. The Bison are coming off a five-set loss on the road at East Central in the regular season finale on November 13
