FIRST SERVE
The Arkansas Tech volleyball team is set to play consecutive days at home this weekend as they host Southern Nazarene on Friday, October 10 and Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday, October 11.
 
The Southern Nazarene match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on Friday while the Oklahoma Baptist match is slated for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday. Prior to the match on Saturday, the Golden Suns will honor the three seniors on this year's team.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns enter the weekend at 7-8 overall and 3-2 in the GAC. Tech is coming off a hard-fought 3-1 loss on the road at Harding on October 2.
 
Offensively, the Golden Suns are averaging 12.9 kills/set and have a .212 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 115 kills and are led by Savannah Meyer and her 160 kills. Erika Hernandez has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .365 (122k-263att-26err).
 
The Golden Suns have split time at setter between their three Aspen Jankowski, Emma Kiser and Kenzie Garrett. All three have at least 145 assists with Jankowski currently leading the team with 214.
 
Defensively the Golden Suns are averaging 16.5 digs/set and 1.8 blocks per set. Samantha Wojtowicz leads the team in digs with 234. Erika Hernandez currently leads the team in blocks with 38.0.

SOUTHERN NAZARENE
Southern Nazarene enters the weekend 5-11 overall and 1-4 in GAC play. The Crimson Storm are coming off a loss in their last match, losing 3-0 on the road at Southwestern Oklahoma this past Monday.
                                                                                                                              
Coming into play against Tech, the Crimson Storm are averaging 11.3 kills/set and have a .178 team attack percentage. They have one player with at least 100 kills and are led in kills by Kate Wright with 147. Wright also has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .233 (147k-434att-46err).
 
The Crimson Storm have used a primary setter in Brelee Mauldin. She currently has 296 of the team's 562 assists. Mauldin has registered 30 or more assists in a match two times this season.

OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
Oklahoma Baptist enters the weekend 13-4 overall and 5-0 in GAC play. They will have played at Harding prior to taking on Tech. Before taking on Harding, the Bison have won four-straight, all in conference play.
                                                                                                                              
Coming into play this weekend, the Bison are averaging 13.3 kills/set and have a .230 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 100 kills and are led in kills by Allie Stricker with 177. Mackenzie Frazee has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .292 (116k-281att-34err).
 
The Bison have split time at setter between Emily Boyer and Madi Barnes. The two have combined for 584 of the team's 684 assists. Boyer currently leads the team with 349 assists while Barnes has 235. Boyer has registered 30 or more assists in a match two times this season.
 
Defensively the Bison are averaging 16.4 digs/set and 2.4 blocks per set. Karsyn Hunter leads the team in digs with 259. Seven Crimson Storm have registered double-digit blocks thus far with four having at least 20.0. Mackenzie Frazee leads the way with 71.0 blocks.
