TIPPING OFF
The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team is set to jump back into their season schedule on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Arkadelphia to take on Ouachita Baptist.

This will be the 96th meeting all-time between Tech and Ouachita Baptist. In a series that dates back to 1977, the Golden Suns and Tigers have played one another at least twice in a season throughout the series as conference rivals. The Golden Suns currently hold a 77-18 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-6 overall and 1-4 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its last three games with the most-recent coming at home against Arkansas-Monticello back on December 19.

On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 70.9 ppg. Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Ouachita Baptist is 4-5 overall and are 0-5 in conference play. The Tigers won their final regular season game ahead of the Christmas break in non-conference action against Arkansas-Fort Smith on a last-second shot, 66-65. They will also be coming off a 95-83 exhibition win against Williams Baptist on December 31.

Statistically, the Tigers average 65.1 ppg and rank eighth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Tigers rank fifth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 59.9 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Tigers are second in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .447 (225-of-503) and are allowing their opponents a .359 mark (178-of-496) to rank second.
