TIPPING OFF
After a grueling two weeks' worth of away games, the Arkansas Tech women's basketball team is to play at home on Thursday night against Southwestern Oklahoma.

This will be the 47th meeting all-time between Tech and Southwestern Oklahoma. In a series that dates back to 1987, the Golden Suns and Lady Bulldogs have played one another at least twice in a season since becoming conference rivals in 2011. The Golden Suns currently hold a 25-21 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-13 overall and 1-11 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its 10 nine games with the most-recent coming on the road at Arkansas-Monticello this past Saturday.

Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,
Wilbers has amassed a 359-147 overall record. Nine times,
Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a
Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE LADY BULLDOGS
Southwestern Oklahoma is 9-9 overall and are 5-7 in conference play. The Lady Bulldogs have lost their last two games with the most-recent coming on the road at Oklahoma Baptist this past Saturday.

Statistically, the Lady Bulldogs average 60.6 ppg and rank 11th in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Lady Bulldogs rank sixth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 61.3 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Lady Bulldogs are 12th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .360 (383-of-1,064) and are allowing their opponents a .398 mark (395-of-993) to rank ninth.
