The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team faces a tough task ahead of them on Thursday night on the road at (rv) Harding.

This will be the 86th meeting all-time between Tech and Harding. In a series that dates back to 1984, the Golden Suns and Lady Bisons have played one another at least twice in a season throughout the series as conference rivals. The Golden Suns currently hold a 63-22 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-11 overall and 1-9 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its last eight games with the most-recent coming on the road at Southeastern Oklahoma this past Saturday.

This season, the Golden Suns average 63.9 ppg and rank eighth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 70.2 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are 10th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .385 (323-of-840) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .395 mark (350-of-886) to rank eighth.

Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,

Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a
Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE LADY BISONS
Harding is 13-3 overall and are 9-1 in conference play. The Lady Bisons are coming off a win their last time out as they beat East Central, 69-66, on the road in overtime this past Saturday.

Statistically, the Lady Bisons average 72.9 ppg and rank first in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Lady Bisons rank sixth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 60.8 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Lady Bisons are third in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .425 (404-of-951) and are allowing their opponents a .399 mark (376-of-942) to rank 10th.
