The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team remains on the road for their next game as they will be at Southeastern Oklahoma for a Saturday afternoon conference matchup.

This will be the 33rd meeting all-time between Tech and Southeastern Oklahoma. The series began in 1980 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold an 18-14 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-10 overall and 1-8 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its last seven games with the most-recent coming on the road at East Central this past Thursday.

This season, the Golden Suns average 64.4 ppg and rank ninth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 69.7 ppg. Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,
Wilbers has amassed a 359-144 overall record. Nine times,
Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a
Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

Southeastern Oklahoma is 10-6 overall and are 7-2 in conference play. The Savage Storm have won their last four games with the most-recent coming at home against Harding this past Thursday.

On the defensive end of the court, the Savage Storm rank 10th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 65.8 ppg.
