The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team remains on the road for their next game as they will be at Southeastern Oklahoma for a Saturday afternoon conference matchup.
 
This will be the 33rd meeting all-time between Tech and Southeastern Oklahoma. The series began in 1980 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold an 18-14 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-10 overall and 1-8 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its last seven games with the most-recent coming on the road at East Central this past Thursday.
 
This season, the Golden Suns average 64.4 ppg and rank ninth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 69.7 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are 10th in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .387 (303-of-783) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .392 mark (327-of-834) to rank seventh.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Golden Suns shoot at a clip of .274 (62-of-226) to rank 12th in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .327 (92-of-281) to rank seventh. From the free throw line, the Golden Suns shoot .645 as a team (169-of-262) to rank 10th.
 
Individually, the Golden Suns have no players averaging double figures, but have four that are at least 9.4 ppg. AbbiGrace Cunningham currently leads at 9.9 ppg followed by Julie Wagner at 9.8 ppg. Olivia Jones and Hayleigh Wyrick are at 9.7 ppg and 9.4 ppg, respectively.
 
Wagner also leads the team in rebounds with 8.2 rpg. In terms of assists, Andie Zylak leads the team with 3.5 apg.
 
Defensively, the Golden Suns are led in steals by Zylak at 1.7 spg and in blocks by Wagner at 1.0 bpg.
 
The Golden Suns are coached by Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech, Wilbers has amassed a 359-144 overall record. Nine times, Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.
 
SCOUTING THE SAVAGE STORM
Southeastern Oklahoma is 10-6 overall and are 7-2 in conference play. The Savage Storm have won their last four games with the most-recent coming at home against Harding this past Thursday.
 
Statistically, the Savage Storm average 67.9 ppg and rank sixth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Savage Storm rank 10th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 65.8 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Savage Storm are seventh in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .396 (354-of-894) and are allowing their opponents a .408 mark (360-of-882) to rank 12th.
 
From beyond-the-arc, the Savage Storm shoot at a clip of .316 (104-of-329) to rank seventh in the GAC while their opponents make three-pointers at a mark of .342 (97-of-284) to rank 10th. From the free throw line, the Savage Storm shoot .821 as a team (206-of-251) to rank second.
 
Individually, the Savage Storm have three players averaging double figures in scoring and are led by Caitlin Kobiskie at 17.3 ppg. Kenzli Warden is next at 12.5 ppg while Holli Lindley rounds out double figures with 11.3 ppg.
 
Kobiskie is the team-leader in rebounding and is averaging 5.8 rebounds per game. In terms of assists, Abbie Barr and Linsley lead the team and are averaging 2.6 assists per game.
 
Defensively, the Savage Storm are led in steals by Lindley at 1.6 steals per game and in blocks by Lindley at 0.9 blocks per game.
 
The Savage Storm are coached by Darin Grover, who is in his 20th season at Southeastern Oklahoma. At SE, Grover is 287-253.
