The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team will be at home on Saturday afternoon taking on Southern Nazarene.

This will be the 31st meeting all-time between Tech and Southern Nazarene. The series began in 1985 but has been played in earnest as conference rivals since 2012. The Golden Suns currently hold a 19-12 record in the series.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 3-8 overall and 1-6 in GAC play. Tech has dropped its last five games with the most-recent coming at home against Oklahoma Baptist this past Thursday.

This season, the Golden Suns average 67.1 ppg and rank seventh in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 70.5 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are fifth in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .406 (274-of-675) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .387 mark (276-of-714) to rank sixth.

Dave Wilbers, who is in his 18th season as Tech. During his time at Tech,
Wilbers has amassed a 359-141 overall record. Nine times,
Wilbers has won 20 or more games at Tech and twice has won 30 or more. In terms of national rankings, a
Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
Southern Nazarene is 8-5 overall and are 5-2 in conference play. The Crimson Storm are coming off a loss their last time out, falling on the road at Harding, Â 67-63, this past Thursday.
