The Arkansas Tech women's basketball team jumps back into action on the road on Saturday afternoon and will do so at Southwestern Oklahoma.

This will be the 46th meeting all-time between Tech and Southwestern Oklahoma. In a series that dates back to 1987, the Golden Suns and Lady Bulldogs have played one another at least twice in a season since becoming conference rivals in 2011. The Golden Suns currently hold a 24-21 record in the series.

Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 1 p.m. inside the Pioneer Event Center on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma.

TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 2-3 overall and 0-1 in GAC play after they dropped their conference-opener on the road at Northwestern Oklahoma this past Thursday.

This season, the Golden Suns average 70.6 ppg and rank fifth in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Golden Suns rank 12th in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 68.4 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Golden Suns are seventh in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .405 (134-of-331) and are allowing their opponents to shoot at a .351 mark (118-of-336) to rank third.

Wilbers-led team has been nationally-ranked at any point in a season 10 times. Among those, he has guided the Golden Suns to the top of the rankings on a pair of occasions during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

SCOUTING THE LADY BULLDOGS
Southwestern Oklahoma is 4-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play after they lost their league-opener at home to Harding this past Thursday.

Statistically, the Lady Bulldogs average 68.5 ppg and rank seventh in the GAC. On the defensive end of the court, the Lady Bulldogs rank fourth in the league in scoring defense, giving up an average of 58.7 ppg. In terms of field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense, the Lady Bulldogs are fifth in the conference as they shoot at an overall clip of .407 (148-of-364) and are allowing their opponents a .371 mark (127-of-342) to rank fifth.
