RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its annual postseason all-conference and superlative awards for football on Thursday, and in the release, a total of 13 Arkansas Tech football players were honored.

Seniors
Joyrion Chase and
Jordan Edington headlined the haul for the Wonder Boys with Chase being named a First Team All-GAC wide receiver and Edington a Second Team All-GAC fullback. For Chase, this is the first postseason All-GAC honor while Edington ended his career as a three-time All-GAC honoree (all as a second team fullback).
Chase's all-conference campaign saw the Marion, Arkansas native lead the team and ranked second in the GAC in receptions with 43. He also led the team and ranked third in the conference in yards with 515.
Honored for the third-straight season as a Second Team All-GAC fullback, Edington was once more one of the top weapons in the league in short-yardage situations. Carrying the ball only 28 times during the season, the Little Rock found the endzone five times to lead the team and rank in a tie for 12
th in the league in rushing TDs. The five rushing scores for Edington pushed his career total to 23.
In addition to Chase and Edington, 11 other Wonder Boys received at least one vote for all-conference acclaim to land as Third Team selections. Listed among those were:

The Wonder Boys also received numerous academic awards with 16 earning GAC Academic Honor Roll plaudits and one,
Damien Jordan, being named a GAC Elite Scholar for an unblemished 4.0 GPA and at least 70 hours completed. Both academic honors are presented by: Conway Regional Health System.
