The 2024 regular season has come down its final match this Thursday and the Arkansas Tech volleyball team is at home to take on Ouachita Baptist.
 
It will be the second of two regular-season meetings between Tech and Ouachita Baptist. The Tigers won the initial match at home, 3-0, back in early-October.

Prior to the start, the Golden Suns will honor the five seniors on this year's team. That list includes: Jordan Clouse, Jamie Myrick, Kaitlyn Neal, Sierra Orton and Maddi Siedenburg.
 
TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns are 13-16 overall and 5-10 in the GAC, currently tied with Henderson State and Southern Nazarene for ninth place in the conference standings. The Golden Suns still somewhat control their destiny in terms of qualifying for the GAC Tournament. To do so, they will need to beat Ouachita on Thursday and have Southern Arkansas and Southern Nazarene lose as well that same night.
 
Offensively, the Golden Suns are averaging 12.7 kills/set and have a .200 team attack percentage. They have three players with at least 140 kills and are led by Savannah Meyer and her 385 kills. Jordon Clouse has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .341 (137k-320att-28err).
 
The Golden Suns have settled on their primary setter with Emma Kiser pacing the offense. Kiser's assist total now stands at 930. Since taking over as primary setter, Kiser has had 30 or more assists in a match 15 times.

The Tigers are 18-9 overall and 9-6 in GAC play. They have clinched a berth into the GAC Volleyball Tournament and are currently tied for fourth with Oklahoma Baptist. They are coming off a 3-0 win over Henderson State his past Tuesday.
 
Offensively, the Tigers are averaging 13.7 kills/set and have a .245 team attack percentage. They have four players with at least 225 kills and are led by Emily Adams and her 302 kills. Leah Gardner has the highest attack percentage on the team among prominent attackers at .360 (237k-506att-55err).
 
The Tigers have used a primary setter in Courtney Hanson. She currently has 1,062 of the team's 1,290 assists on the year. She has had 30 or more assists 23 times.
 
Defensively the Tigers are averaging 17.7 digs/set and 1.7 blocks per set. Avery Jauz leads the team in digs with 444. Three different Tigers have registered at least 50 blocks thus far with Gardner leading the way with 81.0 blocks.
