RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Four Arkansas Tech women's cross country/track athletes have earned the distinction of CSC Academic All-District® for their efforts in the classroom as well as on the course/track. The announcement of the 2023 CSC Academic All-District® teams for the women's cross country/track and field program was made by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Wednesday.

Earning the academic distinction were
Calli Beshore,
Morganne Browning,
Marcie Cudworth and
Ashlynn Mays. As CSC Academic All-District® honorees, all four will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot where first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 29.
To be eligible for the initial CSC Academic All-District® honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at the position listed on the nomination form (where applicable).
No student-athlete is eligible until he/she has completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution and been on a college roster in that sport for two years.
In the cases of transfers, graduate students, and two-year college graduates, the student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution to be eligible. EXCEPTION: Graduate students who are competing at a different institution than the one from which they earned their undergraduate degree are eligible even if they are in their first semester at the graduate institution.
Nominees in graduate school must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above both as an undergrad and in grad school.
