RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – After claiming a share of their first Great American Conference Regular Season Championship since 2015 and securing the top-seed in this year's GAC Tennis Championship Tournament, the Arkansas Tech women's tennis team is set to open their tournament run on Saturday afternoon against No. 5-seed Henderson State.
 
The Reddies became the Golden Suns' first opponent in the tournament after defeating No. 4-seed Harding by a score of 4-1 in Friday's opening round.
 
The Golden Suns and Reddies have played twice this season with one match being a non-conference affair and the other a conference match. Tech won both meetings, beating Henderson 4-3 in the non-conference match back in early March and then 6-1 in the conference match last week that clinched the share of the regular season for the Golden Suns.
