RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – One match into their spring season, the Arkansas Tech women's tennis team is set to play their first home match of the spring this coming Wednesday afternoon out at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex. That match will be against Harding and played as a non-conference dual.
The Golden Suns' overall spring debut came this past Saturday at Ouachita where they turned in a dominant showing. Tech would sweep the Tigers and did not surrender a single set across all matches as they improved to 1-0.
Harding is already five matches deep into their spring season and are off to a 2-3 start. They opened their year with a doubleheader match at Division I Central Arkansas and dropped both matches, but took two points in the first match.
The Lady Bisons then bounced back with a 9-0 win over Division III Hendrix. This past weekend, the Lady Bisons played a pair of Division II teams in Drury and Emporia State. Harding would lose to Drury 4-0, but knocked off Emporia State 6-1.
First-serve between Tech and Harding is scheduled for 1 p.m. Live stats will be available at:
