After six-straight Great American Conference matches, the Arkansas Tech volleyball team will take a brief step away from league play and head about an hour west to take on the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
 
First-serve against UAFS is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday night.
 
Last season, the Golden Suns faced the Lions once at home. Tech would drop the match, 3-0.

The Golden Suns enter Tuesday night's match at Arkansas-Fort Smith 1-15 overall and are currently in the midst of an eight-match skid.
