FIRST-SERVE
The Arkansas Tech volleyball team will play their final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday night as they will travel to Springfield, Mo. to take on Drury.
 
First-serve against Drury is scheduled for 6 p.m.
 
Last season, the Golden Suns faced the Panthers once in the regular season, playing at Tech. Drury would come away with the win, 3-0.
 
TECH(NICALLY) SPEAKING
The Golden Suns enters Tuesday night's against Drury 2-20 overall. This past weekend, the Golden Suns played a pair of GAC matches and lost both, losing to Southeastern Oklahoma, 3-2, and East Central, 3-0.
 
Offensively, the Golden Suns are averaging 10.9 kills/set and have a .139 team attack percentage. They have three players with at least 100 kills and are led by Kaitlyn Neal and her 170 kills. Jordan Clouse has the highest attack percentage on the team at .250 (62-kills, 180-attempts, 17-errors).
 
The Golden Suns' primary setter has been Gracie Palmer. Of the team's 776 assists registered thus far, Palmer has accounted for 398. In the match against Southeastern Oklahoma this past Thursday, Palmer reached the 1,000-assist milestone for her career.
 
Defensively the Golden Suns are averaging 13.6 digs/set and 1.4 blocks per set. Jamie Myrick leads the team in digs with 303. Lauren Grier currently leads the team in blocks with 53.0.
 
The head coach of the Golden Suns is Kera Coleman. She is in her sixth year as head coach of her alma mater and seventh overall. In her time at Tech, Coleman is 72-81. Overall, she's 91-93­.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Drury
Drury enters Tuesday night's match with a 4-18 overall record. The Panthers are coming off a win their last time out as they beat Illinois-Springfield, 3-0, at home this past Saturday.
 
Offensively, the Panthers are averaging 11.7 kills/set and have a .134 team attack percentage. They have three players with at least 100 kills and are led by Juliana Squire and her 212 kills. Kayli Duncan has the highest attack percentage among prominent attackers on the team at .251 (193-kills, 451-attacks, 80-errors).
 
The Panthers' primary setter has been Lauren Tyler. Of the team's 961 assists registered thus far, Tyler has accounted for 693.
 
Defensively the Panthers are averaging 17.2 digs/set and 1.9 blocks per set. Lexi Basler leads the team in digs with 406. At the net, Kayli Duncan leads the team with 71.0 blocks.
