RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team is back in action on Thursday and the Golden Suns will take to the road and play Harding in a non-conference match starting at 2 p.m.
The Golden Suns will enter play against Harding at 2-3 overall. The Suns are coming off a valiant effort on the road at Drury this past Sunday. In that match, the Golden Suns hung right with the Panthers, who are receiving votes in the latest ITA DII National Top-25 poll.
The Golden Suns would pick up two points in the match, which was highlighted by a win at No. 1 singles by
Lea Grinberg. Her win came against Ewa Sambarger, who was ranked No. 43 in the latest ITA DII Individual Rankings.
Harding will have played a match prior to taking on Arkansas Tech as they are at home on Wednesday against Northwest Missouri. Prior to that match, Harding has a 5-3 overall record. They are also riding a two-match winning streak into their match on Wednesday.
