CONWAY, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team nearly took down NCAA Division I UCA on Friday, but ultimately fell just short 4-3.
The Golden Suns started the match down a point to their former conference rivals as the Bears won all three doubles matches.

Maria Krite was not far off that winning at No. 5, 6-3, 6-2.
Maggie Holcomb's sets went beyond the six games needed, but she came out on top in both, 7-5, 7-6.
The Golden Suns lost No. 2 singles in straight sets but pushed No. 1 and No. 3 singles to tiebreakers.
At No. 1,
Lea Grinberg lost the first set 2-6, but bounced back in set two, 7-5. In the tiebreaking third set, Grinberg fell 8-10. In the No. 3 singles match, newcomer
