SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team carried their momentum that was built up at home on the road and turned in a dominant 7-0 win at Oklahoma Baptist on Friday afternoon.
The win keeps the Golden Suns unbeaten in Great American Conference play where they are now 4-0. It also pushes their overall record to 10-3 and grows their winning streak out to six matches.
Against the Bison, the Golden Suns raced to a quick 1-0 lead in the match as they claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. The No. 2 doubles match between

Daniela Baez and Vera Anagrova/Gabrielly Lamas did not finish after the Golden Suns clinched the doubles point, but Grinberg and Baez were on their way toward a potential victory as they were up 4-2.
In singles play, the Golden Suns swept all six matches in straight sets. The closest a singles match would come at the top flight as
Michelle Khoo defeated Oklahoma Baptist's Lin Xin Tan 6-4, 6-3. The remaining five singles matches saw the Golden Suns drop just nine games total. Baez at No. 4 singles went unblemished winning 6-0, 6-0.
The Golden Suns will now turn their attention towards a quick turnaround and another road GAC match as they will take on Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday at 11 a.m.
