RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech softball team and head coach Kristina McSweeney have announced the dates and times for their upcoming 2021 summer camps that will be offered at the ATU Softball Field at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex.
 
This summer, the Golden Suns will be offering a Little Suns Youth Camp and an Elite Prospect Camp. Online registration for both camps is encouraged and can be found at www.goldensunsoftballcamps.com
 
LITTLE SUNS YOUTH CAMP
The Little Suns Youth Camp is scheduled to take place, rain or shine*, Thursday, June 17 and is open to girls ages 4-12. The camp will run from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m.
 
At the camp, individuals will receive softball skills and fundamentals by the ATU softball coaching staff.
 
The cost of the camp is $50.
 
(*- in the case of inclement weather, the camp will be moved indoors to the Multi-Sports Complex located near the ATU Baseball facility.)
 
ELITE PROSPECT CAMP
The Elite Prospect Camp is scheduled to take place Sunday, August 22 and is open to softball players ages 13 and up. The prospect camp will feature a morning session and an afternoon session.
 
The morning session, which will cover skills and hitting exposure, will run from 8 a.m. – Noon. The afternoon session, which will feature integrated scrimmages, will take place from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
 
The cost of the prospect camp is $75.
