After picking up a sweep and battling through a rainy weekend over a week ago, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns travel over to Searcy to face the Lady Bisons of Harding.
The Golden Suns enter the weekend with a 5-2 overall record and a perfect 3-0 record in Great American Conference play. Due to COVID-19 protocols, Arkansas Tech was unable to face Southern Arkansas last weekend.

In their last outing, the Golden Suns took game one then swept a double-header against East Central despite being delayed by rain and playing in at a different facility. The three-game series was played in Conway due to weather concerns.

In game one of the day, freshman pitcher Shannon Lasey picked up her second win of the season, pitching a complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) off two hits, striking out six. Caitlin Wells continued her hitting streak, knocking a double that scored Makenzie Addis and Makenzie Goins. Holly Crutchfield reached on a fielder's choice, bringing Addis once again. McKenzie Harrish got in on the scoring when Goins reached on a fielder's choice. The Golden Suns took game one, 3-2.

Robyn Bales picked up the win in game two and Maddy Prough grabbed her second save of the season in the Golden Suns 6-3 victory. Crutchfield started things off, scoring on a throwing error after a single from Reisa Bakenhus. Wells singled up the middle to score Tymber Riley and a sacrifice fly from Morgan Page scored Goins. Bakenhus knocked two more singles to score Wells and Abbie Cain before Addis popped up a sacrifice fly to score Brooke Prewitt, leading the Golden Suns to a 6-3 win.
