The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns take the court for the second time this week, this time against Henderson State on Friday in Arkadelphia. This will mark the second time the teams face off this season and is being played two weeks after it was originally scheduled due to COVID-19 protocols. The Golden Suns enter the match with a 6-2 record in Great American Conference play.

Arkansas Tech took down Henderson State in five sets earlier this season in Tucker Coliseum.
Haylee Paladini led the match with a career-high 16 kills followed by
Addison Masters with 15 kills.
Emily Ragsdale posted a match-high eight blocks while Paladini added six.
Brianna Merkel dished out 46 assists and
Madison Grantham picked up 27 digs.

In their last outing, the Golden Suns flexed their offensive muscles, posting a season-high .379 hitting percentage for the match, led by Paladini hitting .667 with six kills.
Mackenzie Eford shined in her senior night, putting down 10 kills and hitting .500 followed by fellow senior
Rilie Vote with eight kills.
Emily Acker led the offense with 20 assists in her senior night and
Madison Grantham served up five aces, while the team had nine in the match.

Vote leads the team, averaging 2.62 kills per set, followed closely by Masters with 2.43, Eford with 2.40, and Paladini rounding out the top five with 2.14 kills per set. Ragsdale averages 1.19 blocks per set, putting her in the top-30 players in the country.
Brianna Merkel and
Emily Acker have split time running the offense, with Merkel averaging 8.03 assists per set and Acker averaging 4.80.
Madison Grantham's 6.07 digs per set puts her in the top three in the conference.

SCOUTING THE REDDIES
 The Reddies enter the game with a 3-5 overall record, after falling in their most recent match against Arkansas-Monticello in four sets. Mya Robinson led the match with 13 kills while Violeta Mendoza Quintana added eight for the Reddies. Abby Blackburn and Taylor Scalzi split time running the offense, dishing out 15 and 13 assists respectively. Makenzie Thoman paced the defense with 26 digs.

Robinson leads the team, averaging 2.88 kills per set, followed by Mendoza Quintana with 2.66. Blackburn averages 4.81 assists per set while Scalzi averages 3.72 assists. Thoman averages 5.91 digs per set while Brae Denton leads the frontline with .92 blocks per set.
