FIRST PITCH
In their fifth game in four days, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns will take on Oklahoma Baptist in a Great American Conference three-game series. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m. in the single game Friday and noon for a doubleheader on Saturday.  
 
The Golden Suns look to capture their third conference series, after winning series over East Central and Arkansas-Monticello.
 
TECH TIDBITS
The Golden Suns took on #16 Oklahoma Christian in their last outing, pushing the Eagles to their limit in a doubleheader on Wednesday. Abbie Cain stepped up for the Golden Suns, recording two hits in both games and notched in RBI in game two. Paty Loredo scored Brooke Prewitt with a single to center field in game one.
 
Makenzie Addis secured the top spot in the conference with her sixth homerun of the season against #23 Central Oklahoma. Caitlyn Wells continues to lead the Golden Suns with a .400 batting average (20-for-50) and eight doubles. Loredo and Prewitt have 14 hits apiece on the season followed by Addis with 13 and Tymber Riley with 12.
 
SCOUTING THE BISON
Oklahoma Baptist enters the weekend series with a 12-9 overall record and an even 7-7 record in GAC play. In their most recent outings, the Bison fell in the GAC series against Harding, 2-1, splitting the doubleheader.
 
The Bison have three hitters with a batting average of .300 or better. Kylie Kawamura leads the team, hitting .361 (22-for-61). Mckenna Anderson hits a .342 (13-for-38) clip while Shelby Savages hits .304 (17-for-56) for the season. Sheyanna Sandoval leads the team with 11 RBIs.
