RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – As the 2021 regular season is approaching its halfway point, the Arkansas Tech softball team has announced the addition of four marquee doubleheaders against nationally-ranked opponents* to their schedule.
Two of the newly-added doubleheaders will take place this coming week as the Golden Suns will spend their spring break in the Sooner State where they will play No. 23-ranked Central Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 23. A day later, the Golden Suns will remain in the Oklahoma City metro area and will play No. 8-ranked Oklahoma Christian.
The UCO twin-bill is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first-pitch while the OC doubleheader is slated to begin at Noon.
The following week, the Golden Suns will make up missed games with Southern Arkansas in a non-conference doubleheader with the No. 12-ranked Muleriders on Tuesday, March 30. That doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in Magnolia.
The final new doubleheader to the schedule for the Golden Suns is an April 13 meeting at No. 9 Rogers State.
