RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech women's tennis team resumes play on Tuesday afternoon as the Golden Suns will make the short trip east to Conway to take on Hendrix in a non-conference match.
The Golden Suns will be looking to build off the momentum that they established in their impressive 7-0 blanking of Ouachita in a non-conference match back on February 6.
In that match, the Golden Suns dropped only five games total in double play. The No. 2-flight doubles pairing of
Daniela Baez and
Lea Grinberg did not surrender a game.
Across the top three flights in singles competition, the Golden Suns dropped just six games total.
Michelle Khoo at No. 1 singles won her match 6-1, 6-0, Grinberg at No. 2 singles won her match 6-1, 6-2 and
Aastha Dargude at No. 3 singles won 6-1, 6-1.
For her efforts in singles and doubles action, Grinberg was named as the GAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
