RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- The No. 23 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball enter a weekend of play at the 2020 Best Western Plus A&M-Commerce/UT-Tyler Invitational.
 
WHEN AND WHERE:
 
Arkansas Tech will first face off Rogers State, Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. then a 3:15 p.m. matchup with hosts Tex. A&M-Commerce.
 
The Golden Suns then travel to Tyler, Texas for another game against Texas Woman's University Feb. 8 at 12 p.m., then a 2:15 match-up with hosts UT-Tyler.
 
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW:
 

• The Golden Suns hold a 3-1 record after the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational last week – with three come from-behind single run wins against St. Mary's, Texas A&M International and Texas Woman's.
• Rogers State also holds a 3-1 record after their first four playable games.
• Tex. A&M-Commerce holds a 4-1 record after their appearance at the Arkansas Tech Invitational. During the first round of play they won 10-0 (5 innings) against No. 7 ranked Central Oklahoma.
• TWU holds a 2-3 record coming into the tournament. Arkansas Tech won 2-1 in their last match-up after 9 innings.
• UT-Tyler holds a 5-0 record. This will be Arkansas Tech's first match-up with the UT-Tyler Patriots.
