WONDER BOYS FALL TO SAVAGE STORM

DURANT, Okla. – R.J. Glasper poured in 18 points and Ke'Lyn Adams added 15 but it wasn't enough as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (11-9, 7-7 Great American Conference) fell to the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm (17-4, 11-3), 100-68.

  • The Wonder Boys travel to Arkadelphia, Thursday, Feb. 6, to face Ouachita Baptist at 7:30 p.m.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Savage Storm scored the first seven points of the game until a three-pointer from Glasper put the Wonder Boys on the board (7-3) with 17:34 left in the first half.
  • A layup from Kevin McNeal brought Tech within four (35-31) with 3:59 left in the half until Southeastern went on an 8-2 run to finish the first half and go up 43-33.
  • The Wonder Boys pulled within 7 (47-40) after a Ramses Sandifer dunk, but the Savage Storm offense proved to be too much, as Southeastern controlled the second half, holding the Wonder Boys to 35 points and scoring 57.
 
NOTABLES
  • The Wonder Boys had the advantage in steals with 14 to the Savage Storms eight and points off the bench with 31-26.
  • Glasper dished out six assists.
  • Devante Foster grabbed seven rebounds and Albert Odero grabbed six.
