BETHANY, Okla. – Dillon Gooding scored 17 points, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (8-5, 4-3 Great American Conference) was unable to overcome the hot shooting of Southern Nazarene (10-5, 4-3), falling 79-47 to the Crimson Storm on Thursday night at the Sawyer Center.

• The Wonder Boys return to action on Saturday, Jan. 11, traveling to Shawnee, Okla. for a 3 p.m. matchup with Oklahoma Baptist. 

 HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Southern Nazarene seized the early advantage, opening up an 11-5 advantage at the first media timeout of the opening half (15:52). 
• The Crimson Storm continued to press ahead over the next four minutes, extending the advantage to 21-9 at the 11:48 mark.
• The Crimson Storm kept the offensive pressure going through the half and settled into halftime with a 44-21 lead. 
• SNU outscored Tech 35-26 in the second half and cruised to the victory.

• Gooding and Ke'Lyn Adams led Tech with six boards apiece. 
• RJ Glasper had a game-high six assists. 
• Tech was outshot 52.8 percent to 31.4 percent, while SNU held a 43-29 advantage on the boards.
