WONDER BOYS HEAD TO OKLAHOMA TO FACE EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys travel to Oklahoma this week to face off against East Central on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
  • The Wonder Boys went 1-1 last week, topping Southwestern Oklahoma State, 79-74 but falling to Northwestern Oklahoma State 67-64.
  • Tech is currently in a three-way tie for fourth in the conference, with a 7-5 record in the GAC. East Central and Oklahoma Baptist are tied with the Wonder Boys. Southeastern Oklahoma State and Henderson State sit at the top of the conference with 9-3 records, and the Wonder Boys have victories against both teams.
  • The Wonder Boys are tied with East Central in the all-time series, 17-17 after winning the teams last meeting in Tucker Coliseum, Jan. 4, 94-86.
  • Tech leads the all-time series against Southeastern Oklahoma State 20-13 and has won the last two meetings, most recently Jan. 2, 74-70.
  • R.J. Glasper and Devante Foster continue to lead the Wonder Boys with Glasper averaging 17.8 points and 6.2 assists per game and Foster leading the conference, shooting 59.7 percent from the field on the season.
