RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Golden Suns swept the Muleriders of SAU behind monstrous play from both middle blockers.
Mackenzie Eford and
Greer Rogers combined for 20 kills, hitting .625 and .818 respectively. The offense showed their season-best .330 hitting percentage, while holding SAU to .000.
"Tonight was a really good win for us," said Coach
Kera Dukic. " I'm proud of this team for finishing the match in 3 and not letting up on the pedal at all. Six team aces, only got aced once, and our middles were on absolute fire and only had one error between the two of them. I definitely want to thank the crowd tonight – our student section was fantastic and we need them every match!"
