GOLDEN SUNS HOST MONTICELLO SATURDAY
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns basketball team (4-2, 1-1 Great American Conference) resumes conference play this Saturday, Dec. 7, facing the UAM Cotton Blossoms at Tucker Coliseum. A 1 p.m. tip-off is scheduled.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
- The Golden Suns will look to do something Saturday that no team has been able to do this season - beat UAM. The Blossoms are a perfect 7-0, picking up an upset win over No. 18 Harding on Nov. 21 at Steelman Fieldhouse.
- The Golden Suns and UAM have two common opponents this season - Ouachita Baptist and Crowley's Ridge. UAM beat Crowley's Ridge 88-32 on Dec. 3, while the Golden Suns won 114-36 on Nov. 9; while UAM beat Ouachita 63-60 on Nov. 23 in Arkadelphia while Tech downed the Tigers 80-58 on Nov. 21 in Russellville.
- The Golden Suns lead the all-time series 74-25. Tech has won 22 of the last 23 - and 27 of 29 - meetings between the two schools, with UAM getting its first win since 2009 last season at Steelman Fieldhouse. The Blossoms have not won inside Tucker Coliseum since February 3, 2006.
- UAM has been led by the play of Berniezha Tidwell, who averages 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. Mekaylan Hicks also sits in double figures, averaging 10.1 points and 6.0 boards per contest.
- Jalei Oglesby continues to lead the Golden Suns at 21.2 points and 7.5 boards per game. Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse averages 11.8 points and 5.4 boards, while Hannah Villines has averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 boards.
