Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns tennis team's tournament came to a hard-fought end on Saturday at the ITA Central Regional being held in Oklahoma City on Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the group A consolation bracket, Teresa Sanchez fell 2-6, 7-6(9), 10-7 to Harding's Hanna Flosse. Annabel Rowlands also fell in the consolation bracket, dropping a 6-3, 6-3 match to Oklahoma Baptist's Tahlia Walsh.
• In group B singles play No. 13 seed Megan Bell fell 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 to Northwest Missouri State's Julia Rinderkech. Bell lost her second match 6-3, 6-4 to Pranathi Gannavaram of Nebraska-Kearney.
• No. 21 seed Katie Harris won her first match, defeating Nichole Lubbers 6-2, 6-3 but fell 4-6, 6-2, 10-8 to Northwest Missouri State's Sara Grozdanovic in her second match.
• No. 46 seed Haeleigh Long fell 6-0, 6-4 to Central Oklahoma's Jessica Le.
• No. 51 seed Alejandra Sanchez dropped her first match 6-2, 6-1 to Fidan Ibrahimova of Nebraska-Kearney. A. Sanchez fell 7-6, 6-3 in her second match to Kinsey Fields of Washburn.
• In group A doubles play, the duo of Kami Ward and Rowlands fell 8-5 to Oklahoma Baptist's pair of Kim Moosbacher and Madeline Boepple.
• The Golden Suns picked up a pair of wins in group B doubles as Katharina Drebka and A. Sanchez defeated Landrey Johnson and Jacqueline Chavat of Oklahoma Baptist 8-2, while Harris and Long defeated Emma Warnock and Melissa Vera of Northeastern State 9-7.
• Drebka and A. Sanchez fell in their second set 8-6 Central Oklahoma's Sarah Van Eeckhout and Nikki Boyar. Harris and Long dropped their second set 9-7 to Harding's Allison Carpenter and Emily Carpenter.
