SUNS SWEEP SOUTHEASTERN ON FINAL DAY OF SERIES

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Kristen Dempsey threw a one-hit shutout and Bailey Bunch turned in a four-hit day as the Golden Suns softball team (31-11, 22-8 Great American Conference) picked up two wins over Southeastern Oklahoma (26-17, 20-10) on Sunday at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex, winning 2-1 in the opener before taking a 6-0 victory in the nightcap.

  • The Golden Suns return to the field next weekend as they travel to Monticello, Ark. to take on the Cotton Blossoms on April 13-14.
