SCOUTING THE GOLDEN SUNS
Arkansas Tech (28-10, 19-7 Great American Conference) sits in a tie for second place in the Great American Conference with this weekend's opponent. Tech is coming off a doubleheader sweep of No. 19 Harding, winning game one 3-1 and the finale 12-3. The Tech offense exploded for six runs in the seventh inning to put the game out of reach in the finale. Megan Goodnight leads Tech with a .375 batting average, eight home runs, and 33 RBIs, but each regular starter for the Golden Suns is hitting over .300 this season. Goodnight is hitting .500 in her last 10 games, slugging .750 during that same period. Goodnight has also led the way for the Golden Suns in the circle, going 10-2 with a 1.68 ERA, notching nine saves. Goodnight sits one save away from tying the all-time Arkansas Tech record.

SCOUTING THE SAVAGE STORM
Southeastern Oklahoma (25-14, 19-7) is tied with the Golden Suns for second place in the GAC. Sydnee Hinkle (.387, 4 HR, 25 RBI) and Elexis Watson (.381, 11 HR, 37 RBI) lead the way offensively, but the Savage Storm have a crew of talented offensive players who are able to create a spark. Symphoni Shomo has a virtual green light on the basepaths, stealing 32 bases on 39 attempts to lead the GAC. In the circle, Kelsey Meeks has tossed the majority of the innings for the Savage Storm, going 21-8 with a 3.02 ERA, firing 18 complete games. Destiny Riddle (3-3, 5.40) has also drawn the start on 10 occasions and has pitched in 10 games, while Emily Cudd (1-3, 7.36) has seen action in 16 games, drawing the start in nine.
