SHAWNEE, Okla. - Arkansas Tech women's tennis suffered its first conference loss of the season on Monday, as the 37th-ranked Oklahoma Baptist Lady Bison defeated the Golden Suns, 8-1.

• Arkansas Tech (9-4, 2-1 GAC) returns to the court on Friday, April 6, against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Russellville. The dual is scheduled to begin with doubles play at 2 p.m.

• Oklahoma Baptist (8-4, 2-0 GAC), ranked 37th in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II Rankings, took a 2-1 lead after doubles play, winning the No. 1 and No. 3 matches. 
• Annabel Rowlands and Kami Ward combined for an 8-6 victory in No. 2 doubles, recording their third consecutive win and improving to 5-1 as a doubles team this spring. 
• The Lady Bison swept singles play, despite Kami Ward and Julia Schoch both winning the first set in their singles matches.
