Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Arkansas Tech women's tennis earned a 6-3 win over Henderson State in Arkadelphia on Tuesday, winning five of six singles matches after dropping two of three doubles contests. The victory gives the Golden Suns five wins in their last six duals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arkansas Tech (5-1) fell into a 2-0 deficit after the Reddies took both the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches.
- The duo of Annabel Rowlands and Kami Ward, currently ranked seventh in the Oracle/ITA Division II Central Region doubles rankings, helped the Suns prevent the sweep of doubles play, however, with an 8-6 victory.
- The Golden Suns went on to win the first three singles matches, including a 6-0; 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles by Teresa Sanchez for her team-leading eighth singles win of 2017-18.
- After HSU took the No. 4 singles match to cut Tech's lead to just 4-3, Megan Bell secured the win for Tech with a three-set victory in No. 6 singles.
