RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns travel to Arkadelphia, Ark. for a non-conference tennis match with Henderson State on Tuesday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
Arkansas Tech (4-1) is coming off a 9-0 victory over Ouachita on Thursday. Katharina Drebka, Teresa Sanchez, Julia Schoch, Kami Ward, and Megan Bell all moved to 3-1 in singles play this spring, while Annabel Rowlands reached 2-1 in singles play in the spring.
The duo of Rowlands and Ward have combined for a team-leading three doubles victories. The pair of Katie Harris and Alejandra Sanchez picked up their second win of the spring season and are 7-2 in doubles play in the fall and spring combined.
Henderson State (1-4) notched its first win of the season with 9-0 win over Ouachita on Saturday. Arkansas Tech is 25-24 all-time against HSU, having won the previous 17 duals. The Suns have not lost to the Reddies since 2009. In the last eight seasons, the Golden Suns are 133-20 in individual matches against Henderson State.
