RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns travel to Pine Bluff on Friday to face off against the UAPB Golden Lions. The dual is scheduled to begin with doubles play at 12 p.m.

Arkansas Tech (8-3, 2-0 GAC) is 11-0 all time against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and the Suns have won 79 of 84 individual matches since 2008. Tech defeated UAPB, 4-0, earlier this season in Russellville.

The Golden Suns are coming off a 9-0 shutout-victory over Ouachita in Arkadelphia on Wednesday for Tech's second Great American Conference win of the season. Tech is 3-1 in away matches this season, with the only loss coming against No. 2 West Florida.

Julia Schoch leads Tech with a 7-3 singles record this spring, while Megan Bell, Annabel Rowlands, Teresa Sanchez and Kami Ward each have recorded six wins. Katharina Drebka has played in the No. 1 singles position in all 10 duals this season, posting a 5-5 record.

In doubles action, the duo of Rowlands and Sanchez are 3-2 this spring, including wins in their last two matches. Drebka and Ward are 3-2 at the No. 1 doubles position, and the two have a record of 6-2 in the fall and spring combined. Katie Harris and Schoch lead the Suns with a 4-1 record in doubles play this spring.
