HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Golden Suns took an early 1-0 lead in doubles play, after Katie Harris and Julia Schoch combined an 8-4 win to move to 4-0 this spring.
• West Alabama took a 2-1 lead, however, with wins in both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches.
• The Tigers took control in singles play, winning the five of six matches. Teresa Sanchez was the highlight for the Suns in singles action, claiming the No. 2 match in three sets for her fifth win of the spring.
