BETHANY, Okla. - The Arkansas Tech Golden Suns secured their fourth consecutive win on Thursday, defeating Southern Nazarene 7-2 in the Suns' opening game of the Great American Conference season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Golden Suns (6-1, 1-0 GAC) swept doubles play, taking a 3-0 lead into singles matches. 
• Arkansas Tech's Katie Harris and Julia Schoch highlighted doubles action, overcoming a 6-7 deficit to win 9-7 at the No. 3 match. 
• The Suns went on to win four of six singles contests, including Megan Bell's fifth singles win of the season to give Tech five points and the victory. 
• Schoch also recorded her fifth singles win of the spring, tying Bell for the team lead. Annabel Rowlands closed the day with a No. 5 singles win, her fourth of the spring and eighth of the fall and spring combined.
