HOW IT HAPPENED

• Central Oklahoma, ranked 17^th in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II Women's Tennis Rankings, opened the day by winning all three doubles matches. The Bronchos then took a 4-0 lead in the match with a win in No. 2 singles.
• In the No. 3 singles match, Arkansas Tech's Julia Schoch fell behind 4-0 in the first set but rallied to win 13 of the next 14 games for a 7-5, 6-1 win. The win is Schoch's second of the spring season.
• The Golden Suns dropped singles matches in the fifth, sixth and first positions, allowing Central Oklahoma to take a 7-1 lead.
• Kami Ward fell 6-2 in the first set of her No. 4 singles match but was able to force a tiebreaker in the second set after the score reached 6-6. Ward came up just short in the tiebreaker, however, and Central Oklahoma claimed the dual, 8-1.
