EDMOND, Okla. - After dropping two of three matches in doubles play, the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns rallied to win five of six singles matches to defeat Dallas Baptist, 6-3, on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The match started with two wins in favor of the Patriots, coming in No. 1 doubles and No. 3 doubles.
• In the No. 2 doubles match, the duo of Annabel Rowlands and Kami Ward dropped four of the first five games, but responded by winning five of the next seven and eventually won the match, 8-6. 
• Teresa Sanchez earned the first singles win for Tech, claiming a two-set victory in No. 2 singles. 
• Dallas Baptist answered with a win in No. 3 singles to take a 3-2 lead, but Arkansas Tech would win the next four singles matches to claim the victory.
• Katharina Drebka, Ward and Sanchez all moved to 2-0 this spring in singles play, while Rowlands and Ward earned their second doubles win of the spring season.
