ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Montrell Williams turned in a 19-point performance,
Alex Brown and RJ Glasper both scored 18, and
Freddy Lee chipped in 17 points as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (17-10, 11-10 Great American Conference) held on to win an 82-76 victory over Ouachita Baptist (12-14, 10-11) on Thursday evening at Bill Vining Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tech controlled the opening minutes of the contest, opening up a ten-point (19-9) advantage on a Montrell Williams dunk with 12:34 to play.
- OBU narrowed the gap to three (19-16) after a 7-0 run.
- With the Wonder Boys holding onto a three-point (26-23) advantage with 7:18 to play in the half, Tech went on a 9-0 run, capped by a 3-pointer by RJ Glasper to claim a 12-point (35-23) lead with 4:13 to play.
- OBU closed the half on a 7-0 run to pull to within five (37-32) at the half.
- Tech and OBU traded buckets, with the Wonder Boys slightly outpacing OBU to claim a 10-point (46-36) advantage after a Josiah Thomas 3-pointer with 16:07 remaining.
- After Ouachita narrowed the deficit to five (46-41) with 14:52 to play, Tech once again stretched the lead to double figures after a Montrell Williams layup.
- A dunk by Williams at the 9:39 mark gave the Wonder Boys a 13-point (59-46) advantage, its largest lead of the night to that point.
- A pair of free throws by Jontavis Willis with 1:38 to play cut Tech's lead to six (76-70).
- OBU slowly narrowed the gap further, pulling to within four (80-76) on a Mahlon Martin 3-pointer with 15 seconds to play.
- Glasper hit a pair of free throws on the next possession to seal the Tech win.

- With the win, Tech clinched a berth to the upcoming Great American Conference championship tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
- The Wonder Boys outshot OBU 47.5 to 43.6 percent.
- OBU outrebounded Tech 39-28.
- Glasper led Tech with six assists, while Williams and Jerami Grace tied for the team lead with five rebounds.
